Home horror show Coalville Town 1 Barton 5 Bodykraft East Midlands Premier Division Coalville remain pointless from their three home games this season after an abject performance against Barton saw the County Drains-sponsored side get what they deserved - nothing. Town were a little slow to get going, and Barton pressed forward early on. Coalville keeper Paul Marston had to make a couple of saves, while Town did create a few chances with Chris Vernon shooting straight at the Barton keeper and Ryan Mason blazing over. But Barton eventually split the Town defence on the break and when Town keeper Marston rushed out and failed to connect with the ball, the umpire awarded a penalty stroke - harshly Town felt. The stroke was converted, and it was really downhill from there on. Town showed fight to begin with, and Vernon was again denied by the Barton keeper while Mason again failed to hit the target. Liam McArthur and Mark Newman also had shots blocked. A penalty corner then brought Barton's second goal, a drag flick finding it's way to goal. Coalville went in at the break 2-0 down and skipper Phil Sign asked for more passion and fight from his side. Initially it looked as though Coalville might get back into the game as they started to ship the ball around in confident fashion, with Andy Newman only being denied by a fine save after a rare foray forward. But once a Barton player had dribbled through a couple of challenges and fired home the third 10 minutes after the restart, Town began to lose their heads - and so did one of the umpires. First skipper Sign was sent to the sinbin, quickly followed by James Woodard for telling his teammates "not to talk to the umpire". Down to nine men, it was only a question of time before Barton broke through again, and a fifth was blasted home from close range shortly after. Coalville were now getting no decisions there way in the attacking half as the umpire had clearly had enough. Vernon broke through and dribbled through a couple of tackles to score with a fine finish - only to then be sent to the sinbin himself at the restart. Sign was allowed back on two seconds before the final whistle meaning Coalville finished with nine players - and a lot to think about and put right before their visit to bottom of the table Ramgharia (Derby) on Saturday.
