No way through at Melton

Melton 5th XI  0  Coalville Town 6th XI  0

Bodykraft Central League South East Division Two

Coalville dominated this game against county rivals Melton but were unable to make their dominance tell in the final score.

Despite only fielding 10 players, Town were comfortable throughout, with Dave Briers, Josh Garrigan, Leon Poxon and Adam Whitehall never really troubled in the Town defence.

Coalville created a number of clear cut chances, but Ash Wootton, Jaspal Randhawa and Craig Deacon failed to hit the target. Ahren Parry and Matt Howells were both working in midfield with a fair degree of success against their opponents.

Randhawa soon went close again late on, but the Melton keeper made a decent save to keep a well struck effort out. That meant there were no goals, and a point apiece that keeps both sides in mid-table.
